Port City International University (PCIU), established in 2013 in Chattogram, Bangladesh, is a research-driven institution dedicated to global-standard academic excellence and technological innovation. Port City International University (PCIU) hosted the International Conference on Quality for Sustainable Development (ICQSD 2016) on November 25–27, 2016, marking the beginning of its international conference journey. he conference brought together researchers and academicians from Bangladesh and abroad to exchange ideas on quality and sustainable development. After a rigorous peer-review process, 68 research papers were accepted for presentation and publication. PCIU organized the conference in collaboration with the Australian Academy of Business Leadership, Universiti Kuala Lumpur (UniKL), Curtin University, and Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), laying a strong foundation for its growing international research collaborations.

The International Conference on Sustainable Development in Technology for the 4th Industrial Revolution (ICSDTIR 2021) was held virtually on March 12–13, 2021, in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The second edition focused on the role of emerging technologies and the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR) in advancing sustainable development. A total of 87 papers were submitted, of which 44 were accepted for presentation and publication following a rigorous double-blind peer-review process, resulting in an acceptance rate of 50.5%.It strengthened international research collaboration and promoted innovation in engineering and technology.

The 3rd International Conference on Sustainable Development through Excellence in Higher Education (ICSDEHE 2026) continues the tradition of international academic engagement established by Port City International University (PCIU).
